1. The Dream Home Awards will be considered and judged based upon the individual Category Descriptions as outlined in the 2010 Call for Entries.
2. The competition is open to receive entries February 1, 2011 through April 7, 2011.
3. There will be a maximum of 33 award winners for the year 2011. There will be a maximum of 165 finalists. If there are no entrants in any given category, the category will be dropped. Judges may at their sole discretion may elect not to give an award to in a category if they determine products entered are deemed not award worthy.
4. Entrants must have a valid mailing and email address.
5. Dream Home Awards Competition is open to firms based in or products built in one of the 50 States of the United States of America or by a firm doing business in one of the 50 States of the United States of America. The competition is open to interior designers, builders, developers, architects, tradesmen and their affiliates.
6. Entering projects for categories 5-33 must be built, not conceptual. Categories 1-4 are for conceptual projects that have not been built.
7. Entering projects must have been built after January 1, 2008.
8. The Entrants must notify the Dream Home Awards of any change in their status or location.
9. Judges must recuse themselves from judging on any categories for which they, their firms, their affiliates or their families have entered.
10. The judges' decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered in to.
11. By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to be bound by the rules of the particular competition in question, and by any other requirements set out in the accompanying promotional material.
12. Upon entering the Dream Home Awards 2010 Competition, Dream Home Awards has the right use and publish in any manner all materials submitted including but not limited to all photography, marketing statements and floor plans (photography, floor plans and marketing statements). Entrants submitting photography acknowledge to Dream Home Awards that they have received proper permission allowing Dream Home Awards to use and distribute all submitted photography at its sole discretion for use in all manner not limited to, but including publication on its website and other promotional materials.
13. By entering the promotion, the winner(s) consent to any publicity generated as a result of the competition, and use at any time on the Dream Home Awards website and related publications.
14. All Entrants will be notified by email of the winners for each Category.
15. Details of the winners and finalists will be published on the Dream Home Awards Website.
16. Dream Home Awards will not accept responsibility for any entries not received through technical fault, incomplete, illegible or other damaged entries. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
17. Dream Home Awards Committee decisions in all matters relating to Dream Home Awards competitions and promotions is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Multiple entries are allowed per firm.
18. By entering the competition you accept that Dream Home Awards may pass your personal information to their data processors, consultants, subcontractors and national publication representatives. Dream Home Awards shall use reasonable efforts to ensure that those parties adhere to the same security procedures that we follow ourselves.
19. We cannot promise that the Dream Home Awards site and other services relating to the promotion will be free from errors or omissions, or that they will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operational condition throughout the promotion period. Registration into the competition may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the event of system failure, maintenance or repair or for causes reasonably beyond our control. However nothing in these Terms will limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
20. Dream Home Awards reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control. The Fees if any are collected will be refunded in full if this occurs.
21. Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
22. All entry fees are non-refundable.
23. Dream Home Awards makes no warranty, expressed or implied as to the marketability of any prize offered as a result of any Dream Home Awards competition or promotion.
24. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them. The promoter of the competition is Dream Home Awards, PO Box 3216, Littleton, CO 80161.
